Steelers Sign Second-Round Draft Pick RB Le\’Veon Bell On Monday

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Monday that they have come to terms with another one of their 2013 draft picks as running back Le\’Veon Bell has now signed his four-year contract.

Bell, who played his college football at Michigan State, is expected to become the Steelers starting running back at some point during his rookie season. He was drafted by the Steelers in the second-round and was the 48th overall selection in draft.

Although terms of the contract have yet to be announced, it is believed that Bell\’s contract will total out at around $4.3005 million and include a signing bonus in the neighborhood of $1.4 million.

The Steelers have now come to terms with six of their nine draft picks and that leaves only linebacker Jarvis Jones, quarterback Landry Jones and defensive end Nick Williams as the remaining unsigned draft picks.

Good. I think the Steelers would want him to be the starter game 1, barring injury. I hope so too. I have no confidence in 3 plays and I need a breather Dwyer, or Redman.

This is awesome. As @SteelerDepot said on twitter DeCastro didn’t get signed until July 25th or something like that.
