Another Big Ben In London This Week

London, England will have two Big Ben\’s on full display this week as Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will hold a meet and great session Tuesday at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Park Lane at 7:00 p.m.

Roethlisberger\’s trip overseas will be an effort to promote the Steelers September 29th game against the Minnesota Vikings at Wembley Stadium. During the event, the Steelers quarterback will meet with and answer questions from 30 members of the Union Jax, which is a UK fan club of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In honor of the Steelers 2013 game in London this season, Roethlisberger\’s foundation announced recently that they would give away the first international grant to support law enforcement in London this year.

I am sure at some point over the course of the next few weeks that we will see pictures from Roethlisberger\’s trip that will include him standing in front of the famed Big Ben clock.

It’d be nice if we could have a sort of home field advantage, meaning the crowd being for us. A bunch of drunk Brits can be loud at convenient times

“…the Steelers quarterback will answer questions from 30 memebrs of the Union Jax, which is a UK fan club of the Jacksonville Jaguars.”

So in other words, that franchise has more fans in England than it does in the U.S.

Hmm.. why not answer questions from a Steeler fan club? There is a site at steelernationuk dot com

  • steves

That would be a good idea, but you know how politicians are —- always trying to get them brownie points!!!!!

AAAWWW common,, the Jags have at least 31 fans in the USA,, somewhere??

  • James

Nah, they tricked you into joining the Jags fan club in order to enter the competition. I know about 10 of the people that are going to the meeting and they are all die hard Steelers fans

  • James

The Jags fan club is the only official nfluk fan club in the uk, I think they wanted people to join that before entering to increase the membership numbers.
I know at least 10 of the people that are going and they are all massive Steeler fans,

Thats 2 things I do well – get drunk and support the Steelers loudly 😀

  • Dom

Trust me Steelers have a home field advantage for this one, I’ll be there and I’m sure at least 75% of fans will be Stillers
