Patriots Sign Former Steelers Undrafted Free Agent DT Anthony Rashad White

The New England Patriots announced on Monday that they have signed rookie free agent defensive lineman Anthony Rashad White.

White, 23, was originally signed by Pittsburgh Steelers following the 2013 NFL Draft, but the Michigan State product was waived injured following the rookie camp. White reverted back to the Steelers injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

The nature of the injury that White suffered was never disclosed, but the 330-pound defensive tackle was finally released from the injured reserve list in the middle of May once he was fully healthy.

Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest had reported in early May that White had showed up for rookie camp out of shape.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

A few people were excited about him last year before he got hurt. I hope he doesn’t kick ass in NE!

There the Pats go again, picking our brains…… I’m sure if coach Mitchell saw anything there, with the issue we have with depth on our DL, there is no way we would have let him walk.
