Steelers Release CB Justin King From Injured Reserve On Tuesday

The Pittsburgh Steelers no longer have any players on their injured reserve list as cornerback Justin King was released by the team on Tuesday.

King, who was originally signed by the Steelers on December 18, 2012 due to injuries at the cornerback position late in the season, was placed on injured reserve back in early June.

While the type of injury was never officially reported, King was rumored to have suffered an injured hamstring during one of the OTA practices.

When King was placed on injured reserve the Steelers signed cornerback Nigel Malone to the 90 man roster to take his place.
