Season 3, Episode 117 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start of by talking about the new contract signed Monday by New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz as it relates to the one that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown signed last year in training camp. That discussion leads to us talking more about young receivers such as Cruz that are probably floating around right now on NFL rosters.
Have the New England Patriots handled the situation with former tight end Aaron Hernandez correctly? We think so and we discuss it briefly.
The 2013 NFL supplemental draft takes place on Thursday and it doesn\’t appear as though that any of the six eligible players will be selected.
A Cleveland Browns fan that recently passed away had a pretty funny obituary, so we discuss that briefly before moving on to talk about the 14 sacks registered last year at Georgia by linebacker Jarvis Jones. We also discuss the kind of production that we are expecting out of rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton in this episode as well.
We go over the usage of wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders inside the red zone last year before closing out this show.
