Season 4, Episode 2 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I have a few more Pittsburgh Steelers training camp practices to talk about and that of course includes the first “backs on backers” session that took place on Monday. We go over that, the injury report and Tuesday\’s roster moves to open things up.
The defense will be using short keywords this year in an effort to be better prepared for up-tempo offenses they might face in 2013 so we talk a little about that as well as defending the read-option.
Jonathan Dwyer has lost quite a bit of weight during the offseason so we discuss him a little bit before talking more about the pass protection of Steelers running backs as a group.
Will the Steelers use more 12 personnel grouping in 2013 if Heath Miller is slowed at the start of the season? We spend a few minutes on that topic.
