Felix Jones To See Action Against Chiefs; LaRod Stephens-Howling Likely Sidelined

Felix Jones has only been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers for all of one day but that won\’t prevent him from seeing action Saturday night in the third preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to Steelers PR man Burt Lauten on Twitter, Jones is will see the field in some capacity in the game as a kick returner and possibly even at running back.

The Steelers acquired the former first-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys from the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday in exchange for second-year linebacker Adrian Robinson.

With Jones likely to see action as a kick returner, it is a pretty good sign that running back LaRod Stephens-Howling will miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury.

As previously mentioned, head coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday that Stephens-Howling is still recovering from a grade one MCL sprain that forced him to miss the game Monday night against the Washington Redskins.

Jones will wear No. 23 for the Steelers.
