Report: Steelers LB Jason Worilds Not Practicing Friday Night

The Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night practice at Saint Vincent College is already underway and a few early injury notes are already being reported.

Linebacker Jason Worilds (toe), who injured a great toe Thursday during practice, is not practicing Friday night, according to Dale Lolley of the Washington Observer on Twitter. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday after practice that Worilds might be limited the next few days, but that the injury is not believed to be serious.

Fellow outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley (calf), who suffered some sort of calf strain on Thursday, is practicing Friday night per Lolley.

Cornerback Cortez Allen (knee) had minor surgery Friday morning and he is expected to be sidelined for the next few weeks. Cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke (hamstring) is also sidelined again on Friday. There has been no report on cornerback Terry Hawthorne (knee).

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
