Injury Report

Report: Steelers Rookie LB Jarvis Jones Tweaks Groin Thursday

The injuries appear to be piling up Thursday for the Pittsburgh Steelers during their Thursday practice as Dale Lolley of the Washington Observer is now reporting on Twitter that rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones has tweaked his groin. Lolley does not believe the injury is serious, however.

Earlier in practice, running back Isaac Redman was sidelined following him taking a big hit from linebacker Larry Foote on the first play from scrimmage. Bob Labriola of Steelers Live seems to think Redman suffered a stinger.

A short time after Redman was sidelined, rookie running back Le\’Veon Bell suffered an injury to his left leg. According to several members of the media, the Steelers second-round draft pick now has ice wrapped around his left knee.

At this rate, Mike Tomlin will have quite a few injuries to recap at the conclusion of practice.

The Steelers are scheduled to break training camp Saturday and will play the Washington Redskins Monday night on the road in their second preseason game of the year.
