Steelers RB Isaac Redman Gets KTFO By LB Larry Foote On Thursday

According to several media reports Thursday on Twitter, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Isaac Redman was knocked out by linebacker Larry Foote on the first play from scrimmage during practice.

Redman reportedly got up slowly after fumbling the football and the trainers are checking his head and neck after he was helped off the field.

We will have to see if Redman returns to practice, but it sure sounds like he might be done for the day. The Steelers former undrafted free agent started the preseason opener last week against the New York Giants, but only carried the ball twice for 7 yards. Those wound up being the only two snaps he played in the game.

Head coach Mike Tomlin will likely update the condition of Redman at the conclusion of practice.

Dang…c’mon Larry save it for the regular season..!!

You guys wanna just cast off Dwyer huh? We need Dwyer & Redman to spell Bell this year in case of injury. You dont want LSH in there running full time, he is to small and will get hurt.

It is time for Batch to move on.

Indeed.. Ive always loved Redman, but he seems to be injured ever 2-3 games, usually his ankles

Well Bell was injured too. It’s a contact sport. People get injured. So was it Foote or Timmons that hit him? I remember Harrison saying that he got more often knocked silly in practices than in games.
