Steelers RB Le\’Veon Bell Injured Thursday During Practice

It has not been a good day for Pittsburgh Steelers running backs as not only has Isaac Redman been injured Thursday, but rookie running back Le\’Veon Bell has also now gone down inured.

Bell is being examined by the trainers right now and below are several tweets from the members of the media who are watching practice.

It appears as though Bell suffered an injury to his left leg or knee.

Bell was forced to sit out the preseason opener this past Saturday against the New York Giants with a banged up knee as a precaution. He returned to practice on Monday.

Head coach Mike Tomlin will likely address the condition of both Bell and Redman following practice.

Damn. Hope is ok, and it was just a bruise

  • Matt Manzo

Hope to GOD it’s not serious! If he’s out a few weeks I’m actually ok with Hyphon and Dwyer as a 1-2 punch!

  • Dom

*Redman not Dwyer nearly for sure

  • Mikey Greensheets

I hope it’s still just the bruise!

  • Matthew Marczi

Speculation among the players is an MCL sprain apparently.

  • Jazz

Wow! I’m starting to get worried about the two top Draft picks; is this a sign to come? They seem to be injury prone in Camp, I hope he is ok.

Not good, if true. That can linger.
The guy was a workhorse in college with no significant injuries.

I would think that if it was serious they would have been carted off the field, like the others who have had significant injuries this camp, at the very least, they wouldn’t be standing on the sidelines watching the rest of practice.
