Steelers RB Le\’Veon Bell Suffered A Mid-Foot Injury – Post Game Injury Report

The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped their second consecutive preseason game of the 2013 season 24-13 to the Washington Redskins Monday night and head coach Mike Tomlin updated the injury situation during his post game press conference.

According to Tomlin, rookie running back Le\’Veon Bell suffered a mid-foot injury in the first quarter and will be evaluated again on Tuesday. He reportedly will have an MRI. Tomlin also said running back LaRod Stephens-Howling (knee strain) was held out of the game due to a knee strain, but added the injury is not a major one.

During the game, running back Baron Batch (stinger) was sidelined with a stinger, while fullback Will Johnson (rib) left the game with a rib injury.

The Steelers are certainly banged up at the running back position as Isaac Redman (stinger) also sat out the game with a stinger he suffered last week in practice.
