David Todd In The Locker Room Interview With Dick LeBeau


David Todd of ESPN 970 sat down with Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau for an interview and if you missed it you can listen to it below.

LeBeau talks about the preparation leading up to the 2013 season and the process of getting the roster down to 53 players to start off with. In addition, he talks about how the staff manages personnel schemes on the sideline and in the press box, defending the read-option and the young players on defense that will be expected to play a much bigger role in 2013

    Interesting that LeBeau said he liked the depth on his defense. From my vantage point it looks very poor but I will say I like the future of it.

    The scary part is the depth on defense is awesome when compared to the offense.

    Outside of the OL and because of the injuries at TE I think the depth is good on offense. On defense I only see DL as good depth. A lot of unproven talent on defense IMO but I do agree depth overall is lacking compared to other years on both sides.

    The RB situation is as bad as any in the league and there is zero depth at WR. They are atrocious from a depth standpoint on offense. Pray for health.
