About Dave Bryan

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
  • Berlusconi

As Dave mentionend in the podcast Moye would give defenses something to worry about in the redzone. Would have loved to see him play tonight. Maybe the return of HEATH has something to do with it?

  • T R

LOL@ our red zone receiver Moye, being deactivated after a Touchdown.. Thanks for the memories… What the hell is Tomlin thinking… 0-3 we go to London..

  • chris ward

    HEEAATH!

  • DoctorNoah

Disappointed with Moye not getting a helmet but I guess we have deficiencies in other places that need attention.

Also, all three other AFC North teams won, and Pirates lost badly. Hoping for some good news tonight.

  • Jason

We clearly have something against wr’s over 6′

  • Arturo García

Why is Michael Palmer active and Derek Moye isnt?

  • Berlusconi

my guess would be special teams. sadly

  • Arturo García

I would like them to take a shot at Palmer over Paulson, but I hope we dont miss Derek tonight.

  • Jay Jaber

This decision making is bullshit Tomlin is a bad coach

  • RW

I don’t think he’s a bad coach but you’re right wtf are Moye and Wallace doing on the inactive list?

  • Kelly A

So your statement on Tomlin being a bad coach, is predicated on the inactive players for the Steelers for this match (I’m assuming Derek Moye being the unpopular one). This ladies and gentlemen is what’s wrong with the supposed ‘Steelers Nation’. Everyone is saying this team is weak, yet the fanbase’s integrity is much weaker. I’ll just say this: let the coaches do their jobs, let the players do their job; you’re a fan, do your job and support your team unconditionally. If you feel that you’d be a better coach, apply for the position and let’s see if you’ll survive a day as coach.

All that aside, I believe this team will surprise people and I am willing to support them no matter what. My question to all of you posting on this forum, are you willing to support this team unconditionally, or are you out?

  • Tim Barca

I do not post very often, but read everyday. This is the best post that I have seen since thr season began. I’m with you Kelly A, and will support my team no matter what. Those that post that Tomlin is a bad coach obviously do not understand the NFL. If we were to let Tomlin go, which we won’t, he woukd be hired for another hrad coach position within minutes. Besides, I love to see who these people proprose take his place?? Support your team and quit crying like little babies.

  • AndyR34

Tim & Kelly – I’m with you both!!!! These people know nothing about the NFL…just what they have learned from Madden and some fantasy football league. I am so sick of reading about ‘upside’…I suppose that we should play Golden or Thomas in place of Troy because they have more ‘upside’! Imbeciles! What arrogance…to think they know more than the coaches or the FO!

  • Shannon Stephenson

My only problem with Moye being inactive is that everytime we see this kid touch the field he does something good. I tend to like qualities like that in players. I am strange like that.

  • RW

If the offense fails to put up more than 14 points today, who’s with me on the fire Todd Haley bandwagon?

  • psteelers

Should’ve been 7 right there but as usual the qb misses a wide open guy.

  • RW

Yeah he missed him. Line couldn’t handle a 5 man rush, either.

  • psteelers

    Lol, it’s never Ben’s fault.

  • RW

I just said “Yeah he missed him”. Was clearly Ben’s fault. Just commenting that the line couldn’t handle the rush either.

  • psteelers

Another 3 and out from the franchise guy.

  • Mkeller

17-0 with 2 minutes left in the 1st qtr. yeah…they’re as bad as they appear.

  • RW

I hope he single-handedly wins the game to shut you up.

  • psteelers

    Me too

  • psteelers

I hope they play the back up. I bet he wouldn’t mind throwing the ball away and having 2nd and 10 or 3rd and 6 or maybe even punt.

  • Mkeller

Are you surprised? I’m not. 17-0 in 1st qtr.

  • psteelers

    Nice throw

  • psteelers

Then Ben goes back to his old self. Easy throw and what happens he misses him again.

  • Mkeller

So they go 0-16 you’ll remain non critical? It’s ok to question game and personnel decisions. They’re just men and not beyond reproach. When the bread gets stale we throw it out. Things have gotten stale in Pittsburgh.

  • psteelers

Told you this guy is a joke, when will Tomlin have the guts to bench him.

  • Christopher Wilkes

Ummm, what is going on with the O-Line? Gilbert out, Beachum in at RT, then Gilbert back in, Adams out, Beachum in at LT. It all adds up to a pick-6 lol.

  • Jay Jaber

I blame ben for that one

  • Jay Jaber

    This team is a joke

  • psteelers

Harrison told us 3 years ago, the guy only gets paid like Peyton.

  • Mkeller

Ben is having a terrible year. He’s their best player and cannot turn the ball over like he has. That’s 5 TOs for him in 10 quarters. The team is not nearly good enough to over come that.

  • psteelers

Yea the defense has carried him long enough now. Right on schedule he struggles picking up what the defense is doing so the play clock is at 3,2, or 1 before the snap.

  • Mkeller

Yessssss!!!!! Personal foul roughing the punter! Best play of the night.

  • Christopher Wilkes

You mind trolling another site for the rest of the night? We get it. Ben is having a bad year. How many times you gotta say the same thing? Touchdown! :P

  • psteelers

As long as he keep blowing games. No one complained when it’s fire Tomlin, fire Haley fire Tomlin fire Haley every day.

  • Mkeller

TD before the half and we have a game!

  • Christopher Wilkes

Ok, Gilbert is out again, Beachum slides over to RT again, Adams back at LT. Marczi, you have any explanation for this?

  • Jay Jaber

They’re really not gonna give up on the run game are they?

  • Kelly A

And what makes you qualified to make that type of assertion? So I’m assuming that you know how it is to run an NFL team. Your credibility when it comes to game and personnel decisions, is as good as my knowledge in ballet. While you’re busy playing couch GM, the fact of the matter is that you can choose to ignore the team completely; for the people actually playing the game and running this team, they have to live that reality everyday. Firstly, when bread gets stale, you can make breadcrumbs out of it and use it again. As long as those players are breathing, they have the potential to do anything. Secondly, I definitely will remain non-critical, because at the end of the day, the Steelers don’t run my life as I have more important things to think of; this thing called Football is just a game.
