Steelers Injury Report: CB Cortez Allen Ruled Out Friday; TE Heath Miller Listed As Probable

The Pittsburgh Steelers have submitted their final injury report for their Sunday night game against the Chicago Bears and based on what we have heard over the course of the last few days, it does not include any surprises.

Cornerback Cortez Allen (ankle) failed to practice again Friday and has been ruled out for a second straight game. Allen injured the ankle in the season opener and we can only assume he has a high sprain.

Running back Le’Veon Bell (foot) worked again on Friday, but as expected, he is listed as questionable on the Friday injury report and not expected to play against the Bears. With Bell likely out once again, Felix Jones will more than likely start Sunday night.

Cornerback Curtis Brown (illness), linebacker Jarvis Jones (heel), defensive end Brett Keisel (calf) and nose tackle Steve McLendon (hamstring) all practiced fully Friday and are listed as probable.

As previously reported, tight end Heath Miller (knee) practiced fully again on Friday and he is officially listed as probable on the Friday injury report. Miller will be evaluated Saturday by the team doctors and as of right now he is expected to make his season debut Sunday night baring a setback.
