Steelers RB Isaac Redman Injured On Opening Kickoff Monday Night

The Pittsburgh Steelers started Felix Jones Monday night at running back against the Cincinnati Bengals after Isaac Redman was shaken up on the opening kickoff.

The Steelers used 11 personnel on the opening drive and went three and out after three straight running plays.

Redman is now headed to the locker room. The Steelers are now down to just two healthy running backs as Jonathan Dwyer now backs up Jones.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

Bleh! Who’s responsible for taking that long to hike the ball after the Paulson fumble? Unbelievable! Ben was ready to go, then there’s guys running on and off the field, then they’re in the huddle, and finally Lewis throws the red flag for review. Pitiful! You could see that fumble coming tho the way he was holding on to it. Moron!

  • Matt Manzo

I agree. But what seems worse is our run defense! I wanna see VWilliams in there!

Chris you are soo right, I didnt know if I should scream at Ben , Haley or Tomlin , we doing hurry up offense and it was working then we go into the fucking huddle and here comes the challenge flag.idiots

  • Putter

V Williams is terrible. He’s the last one to the ball. We’re in trouble

  • Jay Jaber

I think I’m gonna throw up our offense looks soo discussting

  • Christopher Wilkes

I’m fine with he defense bending a bit. More concerned with this offense. Ben looks a bit shaky out there, and when he is connecting we’ve got a drop and fumble so far.

  • Christopher Wilkes

Give him a chance. He’s a rookie. You won’t see Kion Wilson again.

  • Putter

I get it on V Williams. He’s a 6th rounder. Why is Wilson out? I wish 98 was better. We need 7 strong up front.

  • Jay Jaber

Are u fucking kidding me a end around to Jericho crotchety hahah pathetic tod hayley is pathetic

  • Christopher Wilkes

Cause he got out of position and run over on an early run. He’s a special teams player.

  • Christopher Wilkes

Ha, you beat me to it. LOL, the defensive end ran him down.

Last bit of proof I need as a long time fan. Tomlin cannot properly motivate this team. Even On MNFL…Tomlin Sucks…

  • Putter

Let’s be clear – he’s an insurance agent. But Williams is a special teamer too and will be looking for work in a year. Wondering where Sly and McFadden went? (but cheering for the guys we’ve got)

I have to admit, after the first 15 minutes, I though I was in for another episode of Keystone Cops. There has been signs of life in this offense nearing the half however. Hopefuly, that drive will wake some people up.

I don’t think this can be put on Tomlin for “not getting them up”. How about Cotchery catch a freaking ball! Or Haley not call an end around to the only slow WR on the team? You can blame it on the coaches, but it comes down to execution. They don’t look lost out there like last week, just not executing.

  • Jay Jaber

Jarvis looks really good keep him in and don’t take him out

  • sean mcmartin

1/6 3rd down conversions looks pretty bad..Hope the 2nd half they come out and score

  • sean mcmartin

    yes he does..Finally a positive…

  • Whcr Communicators

listn to ESPN commentators and post game reports …everybody sees it, this offense is awful.. this is not working..even Heath Miller and LevoN Bell can’t rescue us

  • Rubem Dornas

Redman injured? Seriously? It almost doesn’t happen.

  • Weiss Chad

    Im guessing a stinger
