Steelers Versus Bears Week 3 Projected Inactive List

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Chicago Bears Sunday night at Heinz Field and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.

Cortez Allen – Allen has been ruled out for a second straight game with an ankle injury suffered in the season opener. While we don’t know for sure, we can only assume he has a high ankle sprain.

Landry Jones – As previously mentioned, baring an injury or something unexpected, you can expect to see Jones on this list for several weeks if not all of them.

Le’Veon Bell – Yes, Bell practiced this week, but despite his questionable listing, he is not expected to play Sunday night.

Hebron Fangupo – Fangupo dressed last week but did not play. Being as the Steelers no longer have two kickers, you would think he would be back down this week.

Cody Wallace – It seems as though Guy Whimper will dress as the seventh offensive lineman  over Wallace for the time being.

Michael Palmer – If indeed Heath Miller plays, the best guess is that one of the other tight ends will be inactive. Being as Palmer only helps on special teams, we will guess that he will be the odd man out. If not him, it would have to be David Johnson.

ETA: I forgot that Derek Moye might very well be an option to be inactive with Miller now back. In fact, that might make the most sense. We shall see.

Isaiah Green – The Steelers will supposedly have Curtis Brown back this week and they also promoted Green from the practice squad. This last spot will likely come down to either Green or Antwon Blake, so we will guess Green being as Blake is a solid special teams player.
