Steelers Versus Vikings Winners And Losers – Week 4

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost 34-27-Sunday to the Minnesota Vikings and below is my list of winners and losers from the game. Feel free to add your own in the comments below.

Winners:

Antonio Brown – Brown continues to make plays and his 32 receptions for 412 yards currently has him in top four of the league in both of those categories.

Heath Miller – Miller caught six passes for 70 yards in just his second game back and was only off the field for four plays total. He also had a key block on the first touchdown run by Le’Veon Bell.

Le’Veon Bell – Bell not only made his NFL regular-season debut on Sunday, he also had two rushing touchdowns and registered 84 total yards of offense in the loss. Bell showed us that quick jump step of his as well as his ability to get yards after contact.

David DeCastro – DeCastro is obviously the best offensive lineman the Steelers have right now and outside of a hurry and two run block fails that I noted, he really had a solid game.

 Losers:

Mike Adams – Vikings defensive end Jared Allen should have probably charged Adams for rides Sunday. Adams allowed three sacks and several pressures in the game and he still struggles with stunts and slants.

Cortez Allen – In his first game back from injury, Allen forgot to pack his tackling skills for the trip to London. The cornerback missed three tackles in the game and the first resulted in a 70-yard touchdown by Greg Jennings. Allen also gave up another touchdown to Jennings later in the game.

Vince Williams – The rookie played 43 snaps and while he did register five total tackles, he missed three more and struggled mightily at filling gaps against the run.

Ziggy Hood – Hood was a non factor against the run Sunday in nearly 40 snaps of playing time.
