Season 4, Episode 21 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I start by recapping what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say during his Tuesday press conference following the 20-10 loss Monday night to the Cincinnati Bengals and that includes updating the injury situation.
We then move on to break down the Monday night game and take a hard look at what happened on both sides of the football. We discuss the offensive game plan, the play of Ben Roethlisberger and the lack of running game. We try to highlight a few positives along the way but there certainly aren’t many of them.
As far as the defensive side of the ball, we praise the play of cornerback Ike Taylor and a few other players on defense. The lack of sacks and turnovers, however, is quite disturbing and that of course gets our attention. We discuss the personnel used and talk about the linebacker situation.
We end the show by going over a few things that we might have missed and take a look at things moving forward for not only the Steelers, but the other teams in the division as well
As always, a few more talking points are mixed in over the course of the show.
