Vikings Injury Report: CB Chris Cook Still Sidelined Thursday

The Minnesota Vikings are already in London preparing to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at Wembley Stadium and their Thursday injury report is now in.

Cornerback Chris Cook (groin) remains sidelined with a groin injury and it is now looking like there’s a good chance that he might not play Sunday.

“The fact that he’s not able to practice today leads you to believe it may be difficult tomorrow,” Frazier said Thursday. “He wants to try tomorrow, so we’ll see.”

Safety Jamarca Sanford (hamstring) and cornerback A.J. Jefferson (ankle) were back practicing Thursday on a limited basis after both sat out the Wednesday session.

Quarterback Christian Ponder (rib) was limited for a second straight day, but ESPN.com reports he did the majority of the work on Thursday and will likely play Sunday with extra padding on his ribs.

Running back Adrian Peterson (coach’s decision) was added to the Thursday injury report after being limited in practice. That decision appears to be a precautionary one, however.

Tight end Rhett Ellison (knee) was out for a second straight day while running back Matt Asiata (hamstring) returned to full participation on Thursday.

Defensive tackle Kevin Williams (knee) was limited, and linebacker Erin Henderson (heel) and long snapper Cullen Loeffler (neck) round out the Thursday report as full participants.
