Raiders Injury Report: Tyvon Branch Ruled Out; Tony Pashos And Andre Gurode Doubtful

The Oakland Raiders Friday injury report is now in and it indeed looks like they will be without the services of several offensive linemen for the Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Guard Andre Gurode (quadricep), tackle Tony Pashos (hip) and tackle Menelik Watson (calf) all failed to practice this week and all three are listed as doubtful on the Friday injury report. By the looks of things, rookie Matt McCants will likely start at right tackle while Lucas Nix will get the nod at left guard.

Starting safety Tyvon Branch (ankle) failed to practice once again and has now been ruled out for the game. Linebacker Kaluka Maiava (hamstring) was limited once again and is listed as questionable.

Cornerback Tracy Porter (shoulder) and center Stefen Wisniewski (knee) both practiced fully on Friday and both are listed as probable.

This could be another confidence boosting win, not ready to say playoff’s but on the road to respectability.

Hopefully, there will be a reminder given about last year’s Charger game and the perils of underestimating a depleted offensive line.

This team needs to blow somebody out of the water right now. If we are the team we are capable of being on Sunday, it’ll be comfortable in the end. I’ve seen far too many losses to the Raiders recently, though.

I’m gonna wait until we have a winning record to get my hopes up. New England could be a challenge though

and a reminder of what happened last year in Oakland.

If the Steelers can’t put pressure on Pryor and get some TFL im going to be very discouraged. This Raiders OL is horrible. Really need some confidence for the defense espically the DL. This should force Pryor into some picks.

I would love to see the Steelers put up 30 plus points.
