Report: Injured Jets CB Antonio Cromartie Expects To Play Against Steelers

According to a Saturday report by Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is expected to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a hyperextend-knee Thursday during practice.

Cromartie was listed as questionable by the Jets on the Friday injury report after failing to practice earlier that day, but has reportedly told a few of his teammates that he expects to play after having an MRI performed on his injured knee.

Should Cromartie indeed wind up suiting up, you would think that he wouldn’t be 100%. He is expected to see a lot of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown on Sunday, but unlikely to follow him around the field like he did with Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones this past Monday night.
