Report: Injured Jets CB Antonio Cromartie Expects To Play Against Steelers

According to a Saturday report by Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is expected to play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a hyperextend-knee Thursday during practice.

Cromartie was listed as questionable by the Jets on the Friday injury report after failing to practice earlier that day, but has reportedly told a few of his teammates that he expects to play after having an MRI performed on his injured knee.

Should Cromartie indeed wind up suiting up, you would think that he wouldn’t be 100%. He is expected to see a lot of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown on Sunday, but unlikely to follow him around the field like he did with Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones this past Monday night.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

With so many things lining up in the Steelers favor for this game today, it is truly scary to think about what will happen if/when they lose.

With their next game AT Ravens and then road games out to Oakland (where we seem to lose even when we’re playing well) and New England, we could be 0-9 heading into the Buffalo home game.

This is one of the MOST humiliating and embarrassing seasons the Steelers have played since their pre-SB days when they were just plain terrible year in and year out.
