Report: Steelers To Start Kelvin Beachum At Left Tackle Against The Jets

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN.com, Kelvin Beachum was the starting left tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers during their Tuesday practice and is expected to start at the position a week from Sunday against the New York Jets.

The Steelers wanted to replace starter Mike Adams during the game against the Minnesota Vikings, but a pectoral injury suffered by left guard Ramon Foster in the first half prevented that happening as Beachum was forced to take over at left guard in the second half.

Adams allowed 2.5 sacks against the Vikings to go along with two quarterback hits and a hurry.
