Terry Bradshaw Would Welcome Female NFL Officials With Open Arms

As he was leaving a Beverly Hills restaurant over the weekend, Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame quarterback and current Fox Sports analyst, Terry Bradshaw, was we asked by TMZ about the four women who made history on Thursday when they officiated a Division II college game in Alabama. During his reply, Bradshaw said he was all for it and that he has no problems with women eventually becoming NFL referees.

“In this day and age, I think it’s good,” said Bradshaw. “If they cant do the job, you know that everybody will voice an opinion and they’ll be judged harshly. Of course, bring them on.”

I have absolutely no problem with female refs. I think they should get a chance to show they are every bit as incompetent as their male counterparts.

Thats hilarious..!! I can just imagine the pity on the part of announcers if these women were to get nailed by a player. There’d be so much flags being thrown for unnecessary roughness infractions. The game is just too violent, IMO, for them to not be subjective when making split second decisions. I see the game slowing down to a crawl.
