Three Questions Facing The Steelers Coming Out Of The Bye

The Pittsburgh Steelers get back to work following their bye week as they will prepare to face the New York Jets next Monday. Below are three questions that need to be answered over the course of this next week.

Who is going to play left tackle?

The Steelers traded for Levi Brown last week, but he will not practice with the team until Monday. Being as the team has Tuesday off, that will give him just four practices should he be deemed the new starter. The Steelers could turn to Kelvin Beachum first, however, as he was to be the choice prior to the trade for Brown.

Foster ready?

The pectoral injury suffered by Ramon Foster against the Minnesota Vikings was only a sprain and thankfully will not require surgery. Mike Tomlin said last week that it would be a pain tolerance with Foster moving forward, so we will have to see if he is able to practice this week at all.

Moye or Wheaton?

Rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton had surgery on his broken pinky finger last week and it could prevent him from practicing this week as a result. Should he miss any time, it could result in Derek Moye being active as the fourth receiver against the Jets.
