Patriots Injury Report: DT Tommy Kelly Ruled Out On Friday; CB Aqib Talib Listed As Questionable

The New England Patriots Friday injury report has just a few minor changes on it and one of those includes defensive tackle Tommy Kelly (knee) being ruled out for the Sunday game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kelly had just returned to practice this past week but must have had a setback after being limited on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Questionable for the Patriots are cornerback Kyle Arrington, cornerback Aqib Talib (hip) and running back Leon Washington (ankle) and all three were again limited in practice on Friday.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin), running back Brandon Bolden (knee), quarterback Tom Brady (right shoulder), tackle Marcus Cannon (shoulder), wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh), tight end Rob Gronkowski (back, forearm, hamstring) and wide receiver Matt Slater (wrist) all practiced fully on Friday and all were listed as being probable.

Both tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (knee) and safety Tavon Wilson (hamstring) have been removed from the injury report.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

No healthy team in this matchup. The Pats injury report almost makes me feel better about DeCastro being out this week … Almost.

They constantly lie on their injury report only believe the players that are ruled out.

If the Steelers are going to win this game, it will be on the ground not through the air. They are going to have to dominate upfront without their best run blocker. They will not win a shoot out with Brady have to keep him on the bench. They have two excellent corners so I look for a lot of Heath Miller and dump off passes/screens.

Please no Aqib Talib this week!

    That is a Belichek trait.

The Steelers will need to get a bunch of turnovers from the Pats as well.
