Steelers NT Steve McLendon Leaves Browns Game With Left Ankle/Leg Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Steve McLendon has left the game against the Cleveland Browns late in the first quarter with what looks like a left leg or ankle injury.

We will update his status shortly. McLendon will be replaced in the base defense by Al Woods if he can’t return.

It is now being reported that McLendon is being carted off to the locker room for X-Rays and his return is doubtful.

No where else to post this….but Jason Worlids is playing like the defensive MVP.

Injuries to vets and even guys just getting on a role as starters (McClendon), and yet some young guys are getting some action in the last couple of weeks. Granted it’s not always pretty, but it would be nice if they keep on winning. Maybe the young guys bring some speed, maybe exuberance. Anyway, maybe Fangupo will see the field today as well. I hope Big Mac is okay though. Love those big fast-moving guys.
