Below are the snaps counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers 22-20 Thursday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens along with some observations.
On offense, there really isn’t much to point out. Markus Wheaton only saw the field for three snaps while Mike Adams played 14 snaps in total. He of course played both tight end and left tackle before leaving the game injured. The Steelers were forced to use a lot of three wide receiver groupings in the second half and as a result, Jerricho Cotchery played 59 of 66 snaps.
On defense, it’s not hard to see how much quarters was played. Al Woods played a total of 18 snaps for starters while Will Allen and Cortez Allen each were on the field for more than 50 snaps. Terence Garvin saw 5 snaps on defense while Vince Williams only saw the field for 8 snaps.
