Pittsburgh Steelers rookie safety Shamarko Thomas has left the game against the Buffalo Bills with what looks like a left ankle injury.
Thomas was attempting to make a tackle on Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson when he suffered the injury.
Thomas is trying to walk off the injury and he is being attended to on the sideline.
The game is tied 3-3 in the second quarter.
UPDATE: The Steelers say Thomas has an ankle injury and that his return is questionable.
