Steelers Sign CB Isaiah Green Back To The Practice Squad, Again

As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed cornerback Isaiah Green back to the practice squad after waiving him from the 53 man roster on Tuesday,

To make room for Green on the eight man unit, the Steelers released cornerback Devin Smith.

Green has bounced back and forth between the 53 man roster and the practice squad all season long and there is no reason to think that won’t continue. Green was waived this time to make room for cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke, who was with the team throughout training camp.

Phew. I can wear his jersey again.

i wonder what the bet line is in vegas as to how long they keep him this time

Good. This kid has promise. He’s not the biggest CB but he’s damn fast and seems to have a nose for the ball. If he can improve his special teams play he’ll eventually stick on the roster as the #5

Interestingly enough, Green has already been added to the PS list on the Steelers website… but they have yet to add RB George Winn

Bryan, are we sure that they signed Winn??

Practice squad has eight players and Winn is one of them. I do not update the steelers website so you will have to take it up with them as to why they have not listed him.

OK, thanks. I know you don’t update that site but figured you’d know whether something was brewing or not
