The Terrible Podcast – Talking Tomlin Tuesday, Megatron & Steelers Lions Preview With Dave Birkett Episode

Season 4, Episode 44 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I recap what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say Tuesday during his press conference and that includes us going over the injury situation as well as what he had to say about Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. David and I also wrap up our thoughts on the Sunday win over the Buffalo Bills in the first half of this episode.

In the second part of the podcast we are joined by Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press as we get the insight he has on the Lions heading into the Sunday game at Heinz Field. We discuss both sides of the football as usual and at the end of the interview we get Birkett to give us his prediction as to the outcome of the game. Make sure you follow him on Twitter at @DaveBirkett and read his work online leading up to the game right here.

As usual, there are a few more talking points scattered throughout the show.

I have to say, regardless of what we continue to see on the field this season – and any who have seen my posts know I have been critical – the overall attitude that the team and head coach are exhibiting is perhaps the first thing I’ve seen to feel good about this season.

It certainly can’t feel good to go thru a season like this for a proud team. Props to Tomlin for accomplishing an important responsibility that falls squarely on his shoulders – keeping the players positive during tough times.

Do you agree? Or, do you loose your venom on me for not ranting about the problems ON the field?

    Just sayin..
