Let It All Out Thread – Week 14 – Steelers Lose To Dolphins

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2013 season for all practical purposes ended Sunday with their 34-28 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Here is a thread for you to purge your system in. Get it all out. Every last bit of it.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
  • Queeg

At least ten guys are gone…..old age and some overpaid.

  • Andrew Kiess

I’m getting really tired of this coaching staff’s half-baked game-plans. I also have a hard time believing that all these injuries year after year are just coincidence.

  • Watts2345

Long time lerker, first post. The thing that is going to haunt me all week is that drive with the ineligible man down field. We were moving the ball, flipping the field, Baltimore just gave up the Gerhart TD….everything looks great. Absolutely deflating loss. Unbelievable season

  • TheBurgh805

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

    Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

  • WilliamSekinger

If they couldn’t beat the Vikings or Raiders, the don’t deserve the playoffs. If they couldn’t beat Tennessee they don’t deserve the playoffs. If they couldn’t beat Miami in Pitt in a blizzard they don’t deserve the playoffs!

  • gene mann

This was a pathetic game from the defense. we allowed a warm weather team come into our house and beat us . Think its time has come for major changes on the coaching staff as well as some high price players. We need to find Impact Players on both sides of the ball and think for once it can be just via the Draft. we will need to be active in FA.

  • DoctorNoah

How do the Patriots win, year after year, with piecemeal lines, journeymen at multiple skill positions, and Brady as the only real constant? Why can’t we do that?

  • Jonathon Bert Schade

Tough loss, but when the defense has periods of sleepwalking and the offense STILL can’t eat clock with the running game, that’s how it goes. There should be a decent round to select from, though and there are some reasons for hope in 2014. No matter what, however, what other team has given it’s fans so much over the years?

  • Addison

I’m mainly tired of loosing talent considering they been drafting poorly. Steelers need to take a good hard look at Colbert and the scouting department.

  • Sven_Hunkstrom

Wasting the timeout before the fourth down was stunningly incompetent. Sadly I expect nothing better from Tomlin re clock management. I’d call it amateurish, except nobody who has ever played Madden or intramurals would be as bad as he is at handling the clock.

Oh, and maybe we should have given their receivers a little more cushion on third and tens. Twenty yards wasn’t enough.

  • Tom

Agree 100%. They don’t deserve to be in playoffs.

  • Tom

Just wait till next year! Steelers in 2014!
At this point…I am not wasting my limited brain power making hypothetical changes to the team. I have a feeling I won’t be consulted on those issues…so I am not going to bother.

  • DoctorNoah

Why is our vaunted defense suddenly so terrible? We haven’t had Aaron Smith for a few years, and Casey Hampton hadn’t been playing at a high level for the same amount of time. Timmons and Woodley didn’t suddenly turn to crap, and our new backers seem basically fine. Our secondary has played together for the better part of a decade and did not, just suddenly, get old and tired and forget how to tackle, and Troy has been playing more above the line than over the past three years. We just start sucking right when we’re on the verge of closing out games.

And why is our offense that, when Ben is on a roll, can score at will, suddenly become impotent right when we have a chance to win?

  • T R

Can we petition to get rid of the white line around the field…. its nothing but problems. LOL

  • Elijah Stevenson

In the first half the offense was poor then they decide to come back to late in the second half, even though polamalu did an interception there were a lot of missed tackles, the offense had two chances to finish the game but they didn’t when leading 21-17, I thought ounce again the OL did there job but it was ounce again Ben’s fault, Clark and Taylor should’ve stopped the long gain RB down field, I’m still trying to figure out how that RB escaped polamalu and Allen. But overall the downfall of our season had been the offense particularly Ben, I still think he’s our franchise QB but he needs to be punished and disciplined. Also overall I think the defense has done a good job lurking out offense in games but you can’t rely but u can’t rely on them all the time the offense has to respond. Finally, Brown cost us the game on that last play don’t care what anyone says s.

  • AndyR34

I’ve said it several times before…they are not a very good football team.

  • UK Steeler

The crazy ending will mask yet more woeful time mismanagement in the 2nd half. First timeout a waste. Second timeout a waste. Third timeout should have been before the 2 minute warning, not after.

  • AndyR34

So…who were the impact players that we SHOULD have drafted but didn’t? Inquiring minds want to know!

  • Sven_Hunkstrom

Because they stop actually trying to score points.

  • DoctorNoah

Oh, and how, after four years of lavishing picks on our defense and offensive lines, can we still have mediocre pass protection, a dearth of 100-yard rushers for the first time since the 60’s, and no push at all from the interior line on defense?

  • AndyR34

Please name those reasons for hope?!

  • Anthony Renzelli

It’s a joke to me that steelers fans expect some kind of drastic turnaround anytime soon. I hate mark madden, but i have to agree, they have wasted the prime of roethlisberger and will never again make the playoffs with him at qb. They absolutely will not do anything in free agency due to cap constraints and 1970s philosophy. I highly doubt Haley will be fired and tomlin will remain coach for a long time. Give me 1 reason they can get better next year. Won’t happen. If you know any cleveland fans, now is the time to ask for advice about being at the bottom of the nfl

  • Brian Tollini

    I’m all sweaty with anger.

  • Aric Brown

im trying to figure out how you mistake a TE for a RB…. Ben should def be punished and disciplined for the 350 yd 3td performance…. I would say what cost us the game is the defense (historically uncharactheristically) giving up splash plays… the steelers have long got by with a bend but dont break defense but this year we’re not so good at making the other team settle for field goals

  • Aric Brown

Its actually been like this for years… in past years they would just come up big in the red zone… they don’t now

  • Aric Brown

I also would have called the timeout before the 2 minute warning instead of letting it run down

  • Addison

People need to quit the idea of FA. It’s will never happen with the Roneys. We need better drafts! FA doesn’t always workout for most teams

  • Aric Brown

Nearly every other team in the league would love to have Colbert and the steelers scouting department… they hit a homerun almost EVERY SINGLE YEAR

  • Aric Brown

Sanders, Worilds, Clark, Keisel, are all that I can think of off the the top of my head…. Ike would be a possibility but I don’t think they can afford to lose him

  • Anthony Renzelli

Man your analysis is good. What about the defense getting shredded by Matt cassel,
Jake locker, Terrell Pryor, and ryan tannehil? Should we discipline them or is it the offense’s fault who almost won a game on a lateral play? lol

  • Aric Brown

This is not to say that the offense is great… they are very underwhelming at times… but they show flashes of brilliance once in a while… the defense has been consistently sub-par all year

  • chris ward

This lost is on the defense. Gave up 3 drives that led to TD’s in the second half and continues to give up the explosive plays.

  • alex

the worst part is that im not that upset, because im used to deflating losses by now…

can we forget about pride and lose out for draft pics cause were gonna lose one cause of tomlin?!

  • gene mann

no they dont sorry to disagree

  • HopalongCassidy

I’d keep Worilds. Why can’t they afford to lose Ike ? Like he would get them to the playoffs if he stayed ? It’s time to rebuild for the future. I would let Troy go as well with his big salary. Use the money somewhere else for some younger players who might help the team in a couple of years.

  • P – squared

    Coaching

  • gene mann

i agree losses does not bother me as much want a higher draft pick need to find some impact playes. Just cant do it with the draft.

  • HopalongCassidy

We don’t have a Belichick coaching the Steelers. Evidently he has a better eye for players and knows how to coach them up better.

  • Chad H

This is the type of game where you run the ball and control the clock. We were running it good and went away from it. Not sure why? Ben had a good day. Another key drop by Sanders and a def that can’t make the stops when we need it.

  • CommonSenseGoneWild

My biggest frustration has been with the Steelers letting Keenan Lewis go. He was young and finally starting to contribute. I think they need to reevaluate their process on who to keep and who to restructure. They are tight against the cap and they don’t really have many players I am excited about.

  • Elijah Stevenson

Thanks for the comment. True that, today the defense gave up a 48 yd rushing the QB and I believe a 12 yd by him as well that’s unacceptable

  • Elijah Stevenson

Sometimes I think the coaching staff doesn’t trust Ben to throw the ball and today was a good example because he was pathetic in throwing in the first half

  • Game_Time

This season has been dismal at best, but this loss is a low point, especially knowing what was at stake. After the long break that included time to reflect, I fully expected Tomlin to have the team ready to ball as well as do his best coaching down the stretch run. Yet, here I am again trying to comprehend the coaching decisions that have resulted in another loss to an opponent that should be in rear-view mirror.

  • JohnB

    This year positives:
-a lot of younger guys on D are making plays.
-O-line is playing a heck of a lot better now or maybe its pass execution.
-Ben doesn’t look like he’s on the downside yet.
-We made the better choice of Brown v Wallace.
    -BELL
    Negatives:
-im sick and tired of this 3rd and 2 and we’re in the shotgun.. EVERYTIME.
-Ike burned, Keisels injuries, Troy in a diff role, Clark lagging. Old and Slow
-while we’re on D, hardly any aggressiveness outside of 56/97/93. AT ALL.
-Injuries Injuries Injuries …Colons first season on another team, plays all games.
-failed to capitalize when needed. ie when teams in the division would lose and put us in a good position to move up in the rankings, we would lose. this has been going on for a couple seasons.
    – clock management. I don’t know of any coach that’s Excellent at CM but calling a timeout in the maimi game AFTER the 2 min warning and not before was fuckin stupid. that’s just one example.
    Extras:
    – im really happy to have a worilds/Woodley Pouncey/Valesco predicament on our hands. either way is a good move.
    – I think its time for Lebeau to retire, not for any bad reasons, I just think we’ve kept Butler in waiting for too long. and what we have isn’t working.
    – Suisam needs to spend all offseason working on onside kicks.
    – wouldn’t be surprised to see Haley go, but what “excellent coach” should we have replace him?

  • SG

Wait, no thread about how they still have a chance? Just need to win out and hope that Jupiter falls out of orbit and crashes into Mars or something.

  • RW

    PUNT THE BALL.

  • RW

And he can also cheat better. Damn him!

  • Jacob Dixon

Get rid of Ike Taylor to get someone new

  • alex

KLew gone this year Worilds gone next year…let em sit and learn the D must end now or we cant sign up-n-commers to mid grade contracts, instead of getn stuck overpaying…

  • Aric Brown

Just a few late round gems from Colbert and Co – Vince Williams, Kelvin Beachum, Cortez Allen, Antonio Brown, David Johnson (IMO > Will) Willie Colon, Ike Taylor, Larry Foote, Brett Keisel,

  • RedCarpetDefense

If we get a top 10 pick or better I’d like to see us trade back and get more picks.

  • Josh Knepshield

I see a lot of positives for the future.
Cameron Heyward has looked dominant at times
Big Ben at QB, always have a chance to win
    Antonio Brown looks great..minus sidelines
Bell looks to be legit at Running back
    DeCastro has improved greatly
Cortez Allen should get more playing time
McLendon is good, just not cut out as a NT

  • Addison

I’m saying we a bleeding talent. Wallace, Worilds, Lewis and I’m a little worried Cortez didn’t show up.

  • Alan Felicia

If Colbert has hit “a home run almost EVERY SINGLE YEAR”, name a defensive “plamaker” Colbert drafted since 2008?

  • Superdriller316

Sounds good, but if that happened I’m sure the league would take those picks too.

  • Aric Brown

no it needs to crash into baltimore, tennessee, miami, and new york

  • Chris92021

This is going to be a different team in 2014. However, I don’t expect to that Haley will be gone unless the offense just completely tanks in the final three games. We might have seen the last of Coach LeBeau as well.

  • CrazyTerry

You save only 15 seconds by calllng that timeout. You save it for after the 2 min

  • CrazyTerry

Cortez was one of the better players on D today. The rest of the secondary was a joke including Troy.

  • alex

    haha, ouch!

  • UK Steeler

No you don’t. You take it after the 1st down run (with about 2:18 left) then the clock runs down to 2:00 after the 2nd down play. So the 3rd down is snapped with 2:00 on the clock. Saving it until after the 2 minute warning means the 3rd down is actually snapped with 1:54 on the clock.

  • Reader783

    How is Worilds gone again?

  • Chad H

They would fined a way to punish us for illegal trading and take away picks in 2015 as well. Can’t believe the Rooneys are going to let them take a pick in 2014.

  • Shea Fahr

Perhaps our Pouncey should not have invited the Miami Pouncey and the rest of his Line mates to his house for steak…maybe he should have invited his own Line mates instead….

  • Superdriller316

    Cam

  • Betz Smiff

They get phantom PI calls like today, or non fumble calls, cheat…..

  • Betz Smiff

Just like he did in Cleve? He became a genius about the time Tom Brady came to NE…….

  • Superdriller316

Just wondering, where is the 85 million coming from to resign Wallace and Lewis? Not to mention signing Brown too.
Wallace was 2-19 yards 0 TD, Brown was 5-82 and a TD. So letting Wallace go wasn’t just a smart financial move, but also a good production move.

  • Betz Smiff

They need to look at their player development and evaluation AFTER they draft a guy……look how many young guys they cut that are now starting in the NFL especially O linemen……..

  • Zachary Smith

Playing a week after a concussion, Bell didn’t take too many big hits to the head #smallmiracles

  • RMSteeler

If Haley stays, I look for Ben to try and walk and I woudn’t blame him. Only silver lining I’ve seen the last few games is OL doing better than expected, with good position flexibility due to injuries. If the OL can stay healthy next year along with TE’s, they all got enough real game experience to make a solid impact. Love LeBeau, but it’s time to retire. And no Mitchell taking over as DC. He hasn’t exactly been a Pro Bowl producing, line backing machine.

  • Don

And that penalty was preceded by the false start on the previous play. Throw in the drops and the countless times Tannehill barely escaped sacks, and this was yet another frustrating afternoon.

  • Don

What team do you follow again? I agree this has been a bummer of a year, but come on! There are millions of NFL fans rooting for other teams who would slap you in the face if they heard your bellyaching about what a sacrifice it is to root for the Steelers. Jeez, get a grip!

  • Ryan Barton

Tough loss. Everyone, get ready. There will be a ton of huge changes for this team during the off season. Maybe a little more than we will expect. Just be prepared when we get what we ask for and see a lot of familiar faces off of the team, and a lot of new starters, when the off season gets here.

  • Rod Hedrick

Its time to change the coaching staff. Week in week out the team only plays 2 quarters. The young players aren’t getting better. /

  • Jamie Perigo

As soon as the announcers in TV said Miami hasn’t scored a 4th qtr td in last 8 games I knew we were in trouble. This team has to be in a record book for letting opposing teams set new ones

  • Chris Maxwell

Please make Dick L. Retire or fire him his refusal to apply REAL PRESSURE on QB are the reason below tier QB can be successful and allowing 10 yd cushion on 3rd and short. Haley is next, when your team only scores from the no huddle then there’s a real problem. But he have done better than Lebeau but not by much.

  • Riverstko

Bad draft picks, Cin. drafting my draft board for the past 5 yrs. Richie is a angel for being a racis. How was the dinner mark pouncey dude u bad luck.

  • Steeler Fanatic

This is a multi-year fix. Our cap is a mess, our best players on defense are either entering their final year (Heyward) or are a free agent (Worilds). Our secondary stinks. On offense, we need a big receiver. Our offensive line (surprisingly) isn’t a total mess We might find a backup/replacement in Velasco, Wallace, Adams… Levi Brown could be brought back cheap… as we have Beachum. as a backup. But we need so much help, that’s why I’ve been asking to trade Roethlisberger… because why do we need a Ferrari in a broken down money pit… We need to get draft picks and cap relief. Ben is playing really good ball and what is it bringing- wins? No. I’m really concerned about Tomlin’s in-game coaching. Haley will resign.. LeBeau will retire. Danny Smith will be fired. The Steelers’ next draft (and how the ’13 class performs next year) will determine if Colbert stays. The Steelers might be bad for a few years. If somebody can tell me how we can win with Ben making $20M per, let me know. I’d be happy to keep him.

  • alevin16

Were you watching the game with us at my place? :D That is exactly what I said. It seems that when you look into team records the opponent will be the Steelers.

  • sean mcmartin

worilds and Troy need to stay. One thing The Steelers covet is a Linebacker.
.still so many positions need an upgrade..it’s frustrating and a big letdown..

  • gene mann

The Steelers need to make changes via the Team and as well as their staff.

  • gene mann

Any thoughts why their was a lack of Running game in the second half

  • Elijah Stevenson

Man Haley is nothing but a loser I don’t know y we picked him up not keeping Bruce arians is leading to our downfall

  • Elijah Stevenson

Tell me about it, when we when we played KC last year we were the only team in the season to allow a lead in a game

  • Virdin Barzey

You may want to check the rest of the league when it comes to injuries. Just saying.

  • Virdin Barzey

Real simple…..Good teams find ways to win close games, bad teams find ways to lose them. Stop hoping that this will be a good team in hasn’t for the last few years. Got a few, need more better younger players.

  • Aric Brown

He’s a FA i believe… I don’t think there is any way they can afford to bring him back.. somebody is going to pay that man as he is putting on a quite a good show the past few weeks

  • Aric Brown

you save 15 seconds off the timeout and then another 40 because of the 2 minute warning…. saving the timeout took an extra 18 seconds off the clock… as did the play before the last second play

  • Aric Brown

cameron heyward? sean spence has playmaker written all over him were it not for a freak injury and don’t forget about shamarko waiting in the wings… cortez allen shows flashes of play making ability and then of course there was jason worilds and keenan lewis

  • Aric Brown

Who plays corner next year if Ike is gone? Thats why they can’t afford to lose him

  • Aric Brown

I agree with the good teams find ways to win close games…. but bad teams don’t play in close games… It’s amazing when you think about how truly blessed we all have been to have a team so great for so long that we hit a run of mediocrity and some of us act like we’re bottom feeders

  • Aric Brown

I had a friend in high school who was a (ironically) dolphins fan. He brought to my attention how lucky (spoiled maybe even) steelers fans are

  • sean mcmartin

..Saving the touchdowns for the real season, You lied mr Berger..
This team was never near playoff ready..at least they can now audition whose worth keeping around next season

  • Andrew Kiess

What other team has had the same injuries at the same position (OL) consistently for multiple seasons? I’m watching Drew Brees play right now behind a solid o-line. They are cohesive and are all solid starters. When was the last time we could say that about Pitt’s o-line?

  • CrazyTerry

Dick L should retire, but he lacked talent to mount a pass rush today. Jarvis is a massive joke. Miami has one of the worst OLs and they couldn’t do much. McKinney was given away by Balt and they couldn’t torture him. But Dick L is responsible because of the slow way he brought up Heyward and others. If he sped up the development, maybe Steelers find replacements for Hood by now and Hood remains the backup he should be and they have a better plan B for Foote’s successor. That second ILB spot is killing the steelers. Also Dick L has let Troy get way too many bad habits. Troy is a joke right now despite that pick 6. He was flat out awful for the game except for 2 plays.
Dick L should retire because his own veterans in the secondary have a hard time remembering their assignments repeatedly. Yet they never get benched by him.

  • CrazyTerry

Yet the offense has been better in recent games than when Arians was in charge of a similar swoon in his days. Haley has to take blame, but the offense is no worse. The offense scored twice as many points as the average Balt opponent at Balt. last week.

  • Addison

Steelers are cap pressed I know. Most tied up in Ben ( which is well spent ). Woodley, Troy, and Taylor. Dead money from Harrison and Colon. Restructure contracts for old player. Feel like they’re afraid to move on or it’s because they know they drafted poorly. Didn’t Tomlin recently blame himself. Woodley at this piont could be consider dead money on the amount of play. Mike Adams is a perfect example of scouting. Who looked at him and said “here’s the answer.” The guy looks like a pet lost in the rain. He looks dead behind his eye like he can’t process what sport he’s playing.

  • Superdriller316

That’s all fine and dandy, but what if the vets don’t want to restructure? Then what? You cut them and have a ton of dead money and a questionable replacement.

When it comes to the draft, I don’t know of a team that hits on every pick. That just doesn’t happen. Yes, Mike took the blame for the draft picks. What did you expect him to do, throw everyone under the bus? He’s not going to blame someone else. It’s not his style. I’m a firm believer that our scouts CAN’T scout OL.

Before we get rid of Adams, lets look how long it took K Lewis and C Brown to be solid players and C Brown still sucks. We can blame the new CBA for players not being ready to play.

I said it last year, it’s going to take at least two years to turn the ship around. We have to tread water right now. We need younger legs on D.

  • Superdriller316

Not to mention 2 possible ACL’S just today. Pats and Cards

  • Jonathon Bert Schade

    1. DeCastro, Gilbert and possibly others finally gel
    2. Better,(healthier) OL play allow Bell to run to daylight
    3. Improved running game = play action passing with Ben,(still a top 10 QB)
    4. Heyward continues his rise on the DL and the draft brings fresh blood
    5. Worilds, Jones, Williams all benefit from experience
    6. Front seven improved pass rush gives secondary a lift and new talent is added there as well
    7. It’s the Steelers, the best organization in the league, even during a downturn there is hope for the future.

  • Addison

I agree with all that. Especially the OL. They need to stop drafting Pouncys friends on offense hopefully that Rainey was the last one. Also need to stop restructuring old players. Raven don’t seem to be fearful to cut vets. Steelers use to know when to let them go to. Guess there’s just no one behind the vets. But who knows two good drafts could turn this whole mess around!

  • Addison

    Agree

  • Superdriller316

I’m all for letting dead wood drift away. It’s better to let a guy go a year early than a year or two late. As fans we don’t want to see our playmakers cut because we see what they were and not what they are.

  • blackandgoldBullion

Throw the rest of the young guys into the mix right now. The Steelers need to find out which players are close to ready to replace the veterans. Even if they are not as good as the All-Pros they are replacing, it still needs to be done. Let’s get on with it. I know the part that sucks is the fact that you end up eating so much of the old contract, that it becomes very difficult. For example, I would want to convince Ike Taylor to retire. And would any other vet come in for a big pay cut so they could stay and perhaps compete for one more Super Bowl.

“Sorry, you don’t want to take a pay cut? What are the chances that we can turn it around fast enough for you to try to win a Super Bowl? Not bloody likely! Still no? Okay, well thanks for everything you have done for our past successes, but I’m afraid we can no longer afford you. Bye-bye.”

Remember that for every vet that leaves they can afford at least 2 replacements. That’s encouraging. In my eyes there is no need to wait 5 years to rebuild the team, it may be completed much, much sooner.

And look at the bright side: There are quite a few young players that are actually performing. That means they don’t need to blow up the team completely. They don’t need 25 new players, but perhaps a handful of key acquisitions. Acquisitions that are impossible while the top 5-6 players get paid $80 million or so.

Gentlemen, let’s get on with it.

  • SteelerFanInMD

I hope LeBeau retires and they switch to a defense that doesn’t require years of apprenticeship for their top draft picks to get playing time. They need to get younger guys into the starting lineup. They can’t rely on players from the Cowher years to anchor the defense anymore.

  • StrengthOfVictory

Not sure in what percentage to lay blame, but the defense was the biggest embarrassment. The missed tackles and blown assignments made the Dolphins actually look like a good team. They’re not, but apparently, neither are the Steelers. No way should Ryan T make that long option run. No way should Clay get into the end zone after TWO GUYS wrap him up. I could go on, but why bother?

It used to be this defense might crack at times, but they never gave up the big play. Now? The big play is exactly how teams are getting down the field. C’mon, 34 points? This team should be ashamed.

  • Curt Mellott

Too bad Tomlin couldn’t have interfered with Brown to keep his foot in bounds. Shades of the Immaculate Reception were dancing in my head. But alas, no such luck. Who are we kidding anyway, our 2013/2014 Steelers could never compete with the playoff teams.

  • Shannon Stephenson

That is simple. Cortez and Gay.

  • Steve

Everyone is into the hype of letting Haley go. The offense hasn’t been the issue the past several weeks. The D has lost games! Giving up big play after big play. Ike has to go. The only way I see him staying, is a HUGE pay cut. Troy, the same. Clark is gone. Woodley is overpaid and honestly, has been overhyped for some time. Really, other than Worilds, Heyward and Timmons, I haven’t seen much energy or urgency from the defense. Gay has outplayed his actual talent this year.
Offensively, the only thing I would like to see more is Bell toting the ball more. Could be Tomlin doesn’t want to abuse his future star. Hopefully Ben doesn’t want a Flacco type of deal, although he’s more than worth it! Sanders is a F***ING disappointment! Resign JCO please! Love Heath, but need his replacement at some point. Wheaton needs to get more snaps over the last 3 weeks. As far as the oline goes, barring injuries this young group has potential to shine and be among one of the best groups in the NFL. Have to stay healthy. Colbert: Please get Ben a BIG TALENTED WR!
Coaching: Sorry to say it but LeBeau’s time is now. Whether it be Butler or a young talent from other than the Steeler organization ala Tomlin, they need someone with a chip on their shoulder and light a fire under the players’ a**es!
Colbert and company needs to hit a homerun in the upcoming offseason via trade, FA signing, and/or especially in the draft.

  • Virdin Barzey

    8. Antonio Brown has proven he’s a true playmaker
    9. Miller will be back to full form (took a while)
    10. Wheaton and Shamarko showed real talent for short time on field
    11. Offense is looking better and better, because Ben is finally buying in and looking better.
    12. We might get a chance to see what they hype is about keep Spence.
