Steelers Add LB Jarvis Jones To Injury Report As Questionable With Illness

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones has been added to the injury report on Sunday as questionable after coming down with an illness Saturday night.

Should Jones wind up being inactive for the Sunday afternoon game against the Green Bay Packers, third-year linebacker Chris Carter would more than likely start opposite Jason Worilds.

The Steelers placed LaMarr Woodley on injured reserve earlier in the week with a calf injury and signed free agent outside linebacker Jamaal Westerman to the 53 man roster to take his place.

The inactive list will be released 90 minutes before kickoff and we will know at that point if the team expects Jones to play.

I hope he plays through this

  • Matt Manzo

This is what he needs! Play through the illness, show some toughness, have a good game. He’s got a chance to show up, these are the opportunities the great ones take!

  • Jacob Dixon

I hope he plays because if he doesn’t chris carter is starting

  • Elijah Stevenson

Yeah jj needs to toughen up or he’ll lose his job quick he’s got to learn how to earn his spot.

  • Elijah Stevenson

Is carter a bad player ?

  • Jacob Dixon

No I just think jones needs the playing time

  • Elijah Stevenson

I see your point. My fear is Carter playing better than jj and taking his job away from him. I think he has talent he just needs to develop more and he can only learn on the field.

  • Elijah Stevenson

It’s probably the stomach bug how can u endure that and still play with mental toughness ?
