Steelers Sign DE Hall Davis To The Practice Squad; Release RB Ray Graham

Due to Pittsburgh Steelers currently having a few players banged up on their defensive line, the team signed defensive end Hall Davis to their practice squad on Tuesday.

Davis was originally drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He has bounced around on several teams and dressed for two games with the Cleveland Browns in 2012. He spent 10 weeks on the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans back in 2010, before being signed to their active roster where he appeared in one game.

A two-year starter at Louisiana-Lafayette, Hall totaled three sacks and one interception in 12 games as a senior.

To make room for Hall on the practice squad, the Steelers released running back Ray Graham. Graham, a University of Pittsburgh product, had only been with the team since Nov. 19th.

The Steelers currently have Steve McLendon, Brett Keisel and Ziggy Hood all nursing injuries and obviously needed another practice body this week as they prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals this coming Sunday night.
