The Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon game against the Green Bay Packers will still have meaning at kickoff as the Miami Dolphins have lost to the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets have beaten the Cleveland Browns in early game action.
In order for the Steelers to still have shot at the playoffs in Week 17, they must beat the Packers and hope that the New England Patriots beat the Baltimore Ravens in late game action.
The Steelers could use an Oakland Raiders win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, but they will not be eliminated from playoff contention this week should that not occur.
