The Terrible Podcast – Talking Tomlin Tuesday Presser, Playing Time & Bengals Preview With Joe Reedy Episode

Season 4, Episode 56 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I look discuss the talking points following the Tuesday press conference given by Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. We spend extra time debating the playing time of younger players moving forward and also discuss the potential fate of the entire coaching staff with three games remaining in the season.

We mix in a few other talking points and read a few emails from listeners before welcoming Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer back to show. Joe, as usual, catches us up with everything related to the Cincinnati Bengals as we head into the Sunday night game at Heinz Field. If you are not doing so already, make sure you follow Joe on Twitter at @JoeReedy to keep up with everything related to the Bengals.

As usual, there are a few more talking points scattered throughout the show.

Thanks for listening and don’t forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!

Personally, you’ve just got to get the younger players in there when you’re not playoff bound (yes I realize the team has not been absolutely eliminated).

How many players like Keenan Lewis and Jason Worilds does management need before they realize they can’t wait until a player’s free agency year to see if they can play. I totally disagree with Tomlin’s suggestion that the team can properly evaluate young players through practice. Nothing simulates game experience when it comes to learning how to play.
