Penguins Marc-Andre Fleury To Wear Steelers Inspired Goalie Mask Against Blackhawks

When the Pittsburgh Penguins take on the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night at Soldier Field in Chicago, goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will be wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers inspired goalie mask.

The mask, as you can see in the photo attached below, looks just like a Steelers helmet sans the logo. It even has a painted on chinstrap and was painted by Fleury’s long-time artist Stephane Bergeron, according to In Goal Magazine.

The Penguins are playing the Blackhawks as part of the NHL Stadium Series and they exit the Olympic break with 83 points atop the Metropolitan Division.

Fleury currently leads the NHL in wins with 31 and also has 4 shutouts so far this season to go along with a .919 save percentage.

Here we go Penguins, here we go!
