Steelers WR Antonio Brown Has Issues With The New Pro Bowl Draft Format

Did you enjoy the new two day, fantasy style Pro Bowl draft this year? If you didn’t, you’re not alone as Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown apparently wasn’t a big fan of it either.

Per a Monday report by Pro Football Talk, Brown said earlier in the day on Sports Center that he thought the format “was a little bit off” and that he wasn’t a fan of having to wait so long to hear his name called.

“First off, you get there with a lot of great players, they make you wait two and a half hours under a tent for the draft at the Pro Bowl,” Brown said.

While the new unconferenced format produced a more competitive, lower scoring game this year, the two day fantasy draft was just too much and really not that interesting. You can’t blame Brown for having an issue with it and perhaps more players will speak up with their unhappiness about the draft as well.

If they can accomplish this draft in an hour and a half, perhaps it will appease the players. If, however, they want to continue with the two day format, attendance by the players should be optional.

In case you forgot, and we wouldn’t blame you if you did, Brown was drafted by the losing team that was run by Deion Sanders. Brown, however, did catch one pass for 39 yards in the game.
