Season 4, Episode 80 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I have a lot to talk about in this pre NFL combine episode.
We discuss the start of the combine for starters and get into some of the things that Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert had to see Wednesday in his interview with David. This includes his thoughts on free agency. We talk about the 2014 salary cap now expected to come in at around $130 million and what that means to the Steelers.
The conversation moves on and we talk about the use of analytics in the NFL. We recap some recent comments made by new Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt regarding this topic as well as comments made recently by Steelers team president Art Rooney II as well.
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice got himself into some hot water last weekend, so we dedicate a little bit of time to that story and predict what the fallout of it might be.
Mike Mayock had some interesting comments about a few players the Steelers might have their eyes on in the draft and we also go over my breakdown of Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller in addition. We also talk about a few more players we will have our eyes on this week at the combine.
Several other Steelers and league talking points are also discussed along the way.
