Season 4, Episode 81 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I get started by talking about whether or not he burned his feet on the earth when he was born 49 years ago today. That’s right, it’s his birthday and he’s doing the podcast like any other day of the week.
After David blows out his candles, we get right to talking about the recent projections surrounding the 2014 salary cap number that includes the last report suggesting that the number will come in at $132 million. We break down what this does and doesn’t mean to the Pittsburgh Steelers and also discuss how the name of linebacker Jason Worilds is getting tossed around the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis.
With several days of the combine now in the books, David and I spend a good deal of this episode talking about what has happened this week. We talk about several of the wide receiver performances a few days ago and also discuss a few of the defensive linemen that are doing work on Tuesday.
We talk about a few of top quarterbacks in the draft and whether or not we would take Johnny Manziel or Jadeveon Clowney if we were the Houston Texans.
In the final part of this episode we talk about the Jim Harbaugh saga and also go over a few other news and notes floating around right now.
Several other Steelers talking points are also discussed along the way.
