New Steelers WR Lance Moore Has Signed A Two-Year, $3 Million Contract

According to communications coordinator Burt Lauten, new Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Lance Moore just signed his contract on Tuesday.

According to Brian McIntyre on Twitter, Moore’s contract totals out at $3 million. Moore received a $645,000 signing bonus and base salaries of $855,000 and $1.5 million. His 2014 cap charge will be $1.1775 million.

The Steelers were likely hoping to pay former wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery that same deal, but the veteran chose to sign with the Carolina Panthers instead.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

    Hell yeah.

I like it. Might end up being the best FA signing for us.

Why rebuild when you can reload? I think they are doing a good job to keep the Steelers competitive next year.
