Major Media Record Predictions Already Rolling In Following 2014 Schedule Release

The 2013 NFL schedule was released Wednesday night and already we have predictions from one major media outlet as to how each team will finish the regular-season record wise.

ESPN.com team reporters have all chimed in with their predictions and Scott Brown has the Pittsburgh Steelers going 10-6 in 2014.

Brown writes:

The schedule is favorable with only one game out of the Eastern time zone and only two road contests against teams that had a winning record last season. The offense will carry a defense that is in transition and the Steelers will return to the playoffs after missing it in consecutive seasons for the first time under coach Mike Tomlin.

In addition to Brown, Jamison Hensley and Coley Harvey, who cover the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals respectively for ESPN, both have their teams also going 10-6.

Pat McManamon, who works the Cleveland Browns beat, is not as optimistic, however, as he has the team he covers going 6-10.

The Steelers open the 2014 season at home against the Browns and follow that game up with a Thursday night game on the road against the Ravens.
