Steelers WR Martavis Bryant Held Out Injured Saturday Morning

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Martavis Bryant was apparently injured Friday during the afternoon rookie mini camp practice and as a result was held out of the Saturday morning practice.

“He fell yesterday catching a ball on the sideline,” said Tomlin. “We’ll take it practice by practice. Maybe he’ll be back out this afternoon. We’ll see.”

The Steelers will practice again Saturday afternoon and it doesn’t sound as though Bryant’s injury is serious. The mini camp wraps up on Sunday.

If he caught the ball, then he can stay out. If he dropped it, then suck it up till you catch it lol

….like he fell on the ball and hurt a rib? As long as it’s not an ankle, knee, shoulder or neck, right?!

Hmm! Is this the beginning to something? HMMM!!!

  • StrengthOfVictory

If Bryant was HELD out of practice “as a precaution,” I doubt it’s serious. I’d be more concerned if this was training camp.

It’s not serious. But remember these guys have no contracts yet. I wouldn’t be upset if they waited
