Free Agent CB Brandon Flowers Signs With Chargers

As expected, free agent cornerback Brandon Flowers has found a new team to play for and it’s not the Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to several Twitter reports, Flowers has agreed on a one-year contract with the San Diego Chargers after visiting with them last week.

Flowers was released a few weeks ago by the Kansas City Chiefs after playing the first six years of his career with them. Flowers was originally drafted by the Chiefs in the second-round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech.

By signing one-year deal, Flowers will get a chance to show that he can still play at a high level with hopes that he can cash in next year during free agency.

Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports 1 reports that Flowers visited the San Francisco 49ers on Friday.
