Steelers LB Jason Worilds, TE Michael Palmer Still Rehabbing Injuries

The Pittsburgh Steelers Wednesday OTA practice is now underway and attendance has been taken.

According to Jim Wexell of Steel City Insider, backup offensive lineman Cody Wallace is on the absent list for a second-straight day.

Rehabbing once again on Wednesday are linebacker Jason Worilds (calf) and tight end Michael Palmer (undisclosed) and it’s probably easy to speculate that both will also sit out the Thursday practice as well. Defensive end Nick Williams (knee) is also still sidelined.

Rookie running back/wide receiver Dri Archer is apparently sidelined on Wednesday, according to Wexell, but no reason was given as to why.

Safety Troy Polamalu, cornerback Ike Taylor and linebacker Jordan Zumwalt, as expected, are also absent on Wednesday.

What happened with C.Wallace? Injury related?

I read J.Brown continues to excel running with the 1st Team offense, apparently had a nice TD grab today in double coverage

  • It’s certainly the slow season for news.

I’m rooting for J Brown man i dont know about ya’ll ive been in football mode since February March and just reading all these good things about what is going on thus far with these ROOKS is exciting. I know its just practice in shorts but i havent heard any negatives. although pissed at the time of the Shazier pick after reading why it was done and what makes up the Steelers defense i am pleased and can’t wait to see im in action

He had a quality interception today.

For guys like Wallace, Palmer and Williams…you better put a bandaid on that and get to work because they Steelers are not going to wait around for non-starters to hang around doing nothing.
