terriblepodcast

Season 4, Episode 109 of The Terrible Podcast is up and with co-host David Todd still not back settled after his weekend off, Alex Kozora joins me once again to talk about all of the latest news surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In this episode, Alex and I talk about the recent reports concerning the weight and current health of nose tackle Steve McLendon as it relates to the upcoming season. Staying on the defensive side of the football, we also discuss how the addition of safety Mike Mitchell should help the Steelers in 2014.

What will the Steelers offense look like in 2014? We discuss the recent comments made by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and running back LeGarrette Blount as it relates to their visions and mix in our own speculation.

We also discuss what veteran wide receiver Lance Moore figures to bring to the offense in addition to throwing around a few more Steeler related talking points.

The information Alex provided about Steve McLendon’s height is reassuring. Vince Wolfork is listed on the NFL web site as 6’2″ and 325 pounds (may weigh more). At less than 6’3″, McLendon is very much in the same mould as Vince Wolfork.

Unless Bryant sucks dirt in camp … he will be the 4th WR and get a helmet on game day …. he will get a lot more playing time than Alex predicts … 25/400/5 & Moore is a slight upgrade from Cotch ( minus the the RZ course)

Yea but most people thought that about Markus Wheaton too, to be fair.

and he would have not for the injuries … life always has curve balls …. but i fully expect him to be productive sooner rather than later … not saying he will start anytime soon or in the future … but the kid will be seeing the End-Zone this year …. Bank it !

All this talk on Archer. Let’s all take a deep breath. We have him for 4 years. All this talk on how rookies don’t contribute right off the best. Why is Archer the exception? He’s a third round pick too. What’s the big deal in investing into the future. Blount could be gone next year or the year after. He could be Bells ying to his yang.

Alex knows his stuff but I don’t think the shows in this format really work. It’s good information but there’s no doubt the whole thing kinda lacks energy.

You should get a 3rd person for some more color when Dave Isn’t around. Before you had a nerdy guy/ relatable host dynamic going on but now you just have 2 nerdy guys that have information but it’s really kind of flat from an emotional standpoint.
