Steelers LB Vince Williams Might Have Headshot Of The Year

The official 2014 NFL player headshots are now out and thanks to an observation made on Wednesday by Denny Burkholder, the NFL producer/editor for CBSSports.com, Pittsburgh Steelers second-year linebacker Vince Williams might very well have the most entertaining one this year.

As you can see by the picture below that Burkholder tweeted out on Wednesday, Williams went with the wide-open crazy eyes this year. He certainly looks like a linebacker.

Williams, who was drafted in the sixth-round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Steelers out of Florida State, started 11 games during his rookie season after the team lost starter Larry Foote to a biceps injury in the opener against the Tennessee Titans. Williams went on to register 53 total tackles in 2013 in 405 defensive snaps played.

With rookie Ryan Shazier expected to start this season alongside Lawrence Timmons, Williams figures to be the primary backup at the buck linebacker spot in 2014. With that role comes the expectations that Williams will need to contribute on special teams. As a rookie, Williams did not record a special teams tackle in the 153 snaps that he played.
