Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger 50-to-1 Odds To Win 2014 NFL MVP Award

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has already won the NFL MVP award five times during his career and current odds have him as the favorite to win it a sixth time in 2014.

According to the recently updated odds on the online sports betting website, Manning is now listed as 3/1 to win the MVP award in 2014 after previously being listed at 11/4.

The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t had a player win the MVP award since quarterback Terry Bradshaw last accomplished the feat back in 1978. The betting public doesn’t believe quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will win it in 2014 as he is currently still listed at 50/1 odds. In fact, a total of 13 other quarterbacks currently have better odds than he does.

Another Steelers player, wide receiver Antonio Brown, is currently listed at 150/1 to win the award. If Brown were to accomplish that feat, he would be the first wide receiver to ever win the award.

Good! More motivation to prove people wrong. Post it in the locker room, Tomlin!

    RGIII at 25/1 ….. Now there’s a good laugh

Most of somewhat reasonable, kinda. But Cutler at 20/1 is the one that seems really strange to me.

  • As long as he’s an ‘MVP’ for the Steelers, I’m happy.

  • SteelerMike

Ben was available at 100-1 about a week ago.

The NFL might as well just give Peyton the MVP every year of his career by default……5 times is just stupid.

The fact that Ben has never won it is also stupid imho.

It should have been his in 2010.

  • Jeff

I think Matt Ryan and Big Ben should have better odds than Kaep, Wilson, Cam, and Foles, at the very least.

  • Aric Brown

Pretty favorable odds if you ask me… Ben will never win this award and I’m ok with that. The steelers win and lose as a team.

Jay Cutler at 20/1? That MUST be a joke. I hope so. Cutler really sucks

  • steelerdre

Let Peyton have all the MVP’S he wants just as long as Ben keep stacking those Super Bowl titles… The last time I checked Ben had two titles too Peyton one…enough said!!!

Frankly I don’t want Ben to win this award at all. That would be more ammunition for him to ask to be paid like a top 3 QB. And he is due an extension at LATEST next offseason right before his contract expires after the 2015 season.

  • Aric Brown

If he can play at a high level for another few years He could end up having more than Brady and Manning combined
