Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell Leaves Sunday’s Practice With Hamstring Tightness

The Pittsburgh Steelers are down a running back right now during their Sunday training camp practice as Le’Veon Bell left the field with a trainer.

According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Bell was walking fine when he exited the field, so it’s unclear what the nature of his problem is.

The Steelers lost backup center David Snow to an ankle/foot injury on Saturday and he failed to practice Sunday.

Head coach Mike Tomlin is expected to talk to the media at the conclusion of practice so hopefully he will shed some light on Bell’s condition.

UPDATE: After practice, Tomlin said that Bell experienced some hamstring tightness and the injury is not considered to be serious. As for Snow, he suffered a broken foot that will require surgery.

Typo. Yes, Snow was the one with the broken foot.

I hate hamstring problems. You never know with them. They have a habit of lingering on and on. Hope that doesn’t happen with Bell.

I’m on board. “Dear God, make me a bird, so I can fly far far away!”

Allow me to be the third….NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

No one mentioned that he pulled up and grabbed his hamstring. Hopefully nothing is torn and the trainers are being extra cautious. Its Alvester time to shine.

Injuries occur every year during training camp. But is it me or does it seem like the injuries occur far too often with the Steelers? I hope this is nothing too serious, this is such a young team and they will definitely need those players from the 2013 Draft Class to step up this year. Get weel soon Bell.

If we look around the league there are injuries at nearly every camp. Up until this weekend the Steelers have been pretty injury free. Unless you follow all the other teams you won’t hear about backup and third string players being lost for the year. Let’s hope everyone is healthy when it counts.
