Cardinals Sign Former Steelers T Max Starks

It took a while, but former Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Max Starks has finally landed with Pittsburgh West.

According to the Arizona Cardinals, they have signed Starks, who only played in two games last season.

In 2013, Starks was in training camp with the San Diego Chargers but failed to make their final roster. He ultimately latched on with the St. Louis Rams in mid September, but wound up being released on October 1.

Starks was originally drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Florida. His career in Pittsburgh lasted nearly nine full seasons and he started 96 games during that span of time.

Starks will be reunited with Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, who was the Steelers offensive coordinator for several seasons.

In order to make room for Starks on their roster, the Cardinals waived former Steelers offseason kicker Danny Hrapmann.
